Secours International — ‘Survival First’ — is the operational humanitarian arm of the World Association for Development. We mobilise the necessary resources to anticipate crises, prepare responses and intervene in the event of disasters, health emergencies, conflicts and population displacement.
Our system combines early warning mechanisms, teams and expertise that can be mobilised, as well as technical, logistical and financial capabilities. In coordination with the relevant authorities, partner organisations and local stakeholders, we assess needs, organise the response and deliver assistance to affected communities.
Our work comprises three inseparable stages: providing emergency relief, supporting recovery and building resilience. This continuity guides our commitment: to protect life, uphold human dignity and help communities regain their capacity to act in a sustainable manner.
